What Guests Are Saying
Ponderosa Campground offers spacious, clean sites with helpful camp hosts and well-maintained facilities, making it a pleasant camping experience. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful environment, despite some noise from the nearby highway. While some sites may be challenging for larger trailers and have limited shade due to recent tree thinning, the overall positive atmosphere and convenience to town make it a favored destination for campers.

Nice facility. Wooded area, lots of space between spots. Picnic table, fire pit. No shade. Toilets and water are within a reasonable distance. Campground is easily accessible (it is close to the road, you can hear the traffic)

i reserved A10 and A11. 1 was supposed to be a 26 ft pull thru. I have a 24 ft trailer and ended up having to back it in to the spot. There were 2 trees making it very hard to pull thru. That same spot was washed out and there was no place to put a tent for family meeting us there. the other spot we managed to get 2 tents set up, but definitely would not recommend the pull thru spot for trailer or tent. not a pleasant experience.

Big sites and clean vault toilets. Quite a bit of noise from the highway. Great price.

The campground is clean and easy to get to. It was disappointing that the quiet hours weren’t held up with some campers playing loud music well past 10pm. And there were some RV campers with a couple really loud generators so if you’re used to private tent camping, choose your site wisely. Ultimately, worth the price though for a quick getaway.
