Mika, and his wife were sooo nice, and helpful. Couldn't ask for nicer hosts. Unfortunately my sister had an issue, and had to be air lifted to the valley Hospital after 7 days because of the extreme heat. Going again in August.

Very well kept spaces and outhouses. Odd that not all of the bigger trailer friendly spaces can be reserved.

We haven’t camped at Sharp Creek for almost 5 years. Was not as happy with this latest experience. The Pine (tent only) loop is very close together. For site 5 you actually have to walk about 50 yards away from the road and your parking spot while passing between site 4 and 6 which is really awkward when the sites are filled. If you have alot of gear it’s a haul. There are also no bear boxes (which we knew ahead of time) but that makes every night/morning/day trip more labor intensive when the site is so far from the parking spot. It also makes it much further from the toilet that way which might be a good thing as the facilities were not very clean and smelled significantly. The ladies toilet was also out of TP for a full 24 hours while we were there even though the hosts drove by multiple times during that timeframe.

I realize the population of the campground was low. However, the vault toilets were not clean, fire rings were not cleaned out. It was clear that nobody had touched the site after the last visitor left. Sorry, that you asked. Usually the campground is spotless from one end to the other.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Love the location, size of sites, and space between them.
However, the new hosts were very disappointing. Our site was not cleaned prior to our arrival, and the fire pit and grill were filled with old coals. And nothing ever got taken care of out entire stay. They seemed to just drive around and not interact or actually do anything. Never saw one get out of the golf cart or off his motorcycle. Really miss the hosts who had been there for several years prior. They really cared about the campground, and we’re awesome people.
