We arrived on the day of reservation to find our site occupied, we had to wait 2 hours for it to be vacated. Then at midnight a large and loud family tried to start camping next to us on our site. Once again we had to fight for our reserved space.
It was not a peaceful experience.

We wanted to love this campground. We gave it chance after chance, but it just failed on every count. Trash is everywhere. Never seen such a filthy campground. The camp host left their site ONCE in the 3 nights we were there (our spot was a couple away from theirs).
Some of the campers were partying all day, all night, and back at it every morning at 5am. No regard for quiet hours (10pm-5am) and the hosts refused to do their jobs. At one point they had 4 vehicles and 22 people at their single site.
If you have waterfront campsite, expect people to walk through your site and even set up shop in your area. No joke, it was insane how little respect some of these people had.
No cell service.
Tons of dogs, 95% not in leashes. Even the hosts dog wasn’t leashed.
Do yourself a massive favor, avoid the headache and book somewhere else. Burnt Corral is pure trash under the current host leadership.

Loved our site. Was private with the trees. Nice being a tad off the water as it wasn’t as windy. Spent most of our time in the water relaxing. Only downside is that it very loud at night with numerous campers bringing large speakers.

Great campground, hosts Bill and his wife are awesome. Be sure to check conditions of individual campsites for rain/ runoff damage.

Beautiful and well maintained campground but did not like our site #15. The table was on a steep slope, which made it difficult to use.
