Great views, lake access, not many campers. Road to the campground is rough but passable. The bathrooms are a problem. Not sure what is going on with the 'composting toilets' but they stink.

We’ve camped here several times. We love it. Last time we reserved a site because we knew we wouldn’t be there until Saturday morning and someone was in our reserved site but they moved out without to much attitude. The only draw back is the road in. It’s rough and tight, many areas not wide enough for 2 vehicles to pass. All in all. A great campground

Camp hosts were amazing! Good site with access to the water, grounds were clean, bathrooms were well taken care of and lit well! Campfire rings need some work but overall a GREAT time! Definitely will be back!

No issues with the individual camp site, or the area. The issue is with the pit toilets. I have never experienced such a rank and disgusting situation in my 47 years of life. Absolutely unusable. The stench was unbearable. I've used a lot of pit toilets, but I may never return to Burnt Corral for this reason.

Very clean facilities, rangers were incredibly kind, great views, peaceful. I loved the dirt road along the river leading to the campsite. I traveled by motorcycle. A total gem.

Nice access to Apache Lake allowing boats to be left on the beach, rather than loading and unloading with each use. Sad to see the loss of so much mesquite tree shade from all the pruning that was done. Pit toilets seemed more odiferous than during my last visit, with some added wear and tear inside. Hosts were nice and engaging.
