Other users were VERY loud, all day and all night. The quiet hours posted, 10pm to 6am were entirely ignored. Some users were playing music and having loud conversations until past 11 am and generators were running at 5 am.
Other than that, the facility is great, the water was great for paddling and as long as we could get away from the loud neighbors, we had a great time!

Great campsite. The grounds and the lake are incredible. The ride in to the campsite from Roosevelt Dam is a narrow dirt road that is wash-boarded and bumpy but worth it. The campsite itself is a mile off the Apache Trail and paved so no dust from cars driving around it. Enjoy the tranquility of a cell phone-less beautiful water playground, launch your kayak from a campsite a respectable distance away from other campers, it's a favorite Arizona campground in the Fall, Winter and Spring. It's Phoenix Hot in the summertime.

The five mile or so narrow road getting there could use some improvement but once you are there it is worth it! Another unfortunate event was a drunk camper across from us who came knocking on our door with incredibly foul language to yell at us bcse we had generator on during allowed time. We informed the host and he went to talk to offender and recommended we look into solar power. Removing this incident, we had a great time and will be back!

Wonderful view and site! Can be windy but not a deal breaker. Got to see a bunch of Javalinas!
The last 25 mins to the camp from the bridge are through a dirt road. Avoid if there is rain or possibility of rain.

Great location. Beautiful scenery, very calm and peaceful. When I went I was one of three campers there, so it was great! The host and hostess are super friendly and helpful. The three unpaved miles on Apache Trail to get to the camping are a little rough but totally worth it. The views are amazing.

The road in and out is a challenge, but other than that it was a wonderful campground.
