Cholla Campground is highly praised for its friendly hosts, clean facilities, and beautiful scenery, including stunning views of the lake and surrounding landscapes. The camp area and bathroom were clean. No lights in the bathroom. Campsites are pretty close together where you can see and hear about 3-4 of your neighbors (nothing wrong with that, just worth mentioning if campers are expecting rim like space). Hosts were very kinda and fun, they came around a few times, sweet older couple. All in all, I would return.

We camped in the double site, 177, Cane loop and it was wonderful. The views were awesome and the site was pretty private. There was fresh water to fill our trailer tank at the dump site down the road a bit past the other loops. We found we could easily launch kayaks from the boat landing near the big ramp. The only negative was there is no shoreline to sit next to the water.

This is a nice campground, with reasonable spacing between sites, water spigots located around the loops, lots of trash bins and the dump is open 24/7. But the line at the dump can be very long if you leave at a popular time (Sunday morning). As was mentioned elsewhere, people at this campground seem to run their generators all day long - it would be nice to have some quiet during the day. Thank goodness they seem to pay attention to the quiet hours. There are lots of nearby activities.

It's crowded on the weekend but to be expected as the lake is there. Only one dump station. There should be more, there was a long line on Sunday morning. The signs said the dump was only open 2 days a week for only a few hours. Luckily it is actually open 24/7.
