Absolutely gorgeous campsite right next to Oak Creek with a little pool a short walk down the river! a short drive to beautiful Sedona, this campsite is a must-go.

So, I've been waiting to camp here for some time now. Proximity to swimming in oak creek and general location all a plus. Onsight staff was awesome! Nice and quiet (read: other campers, at least when I was there). Now the bad.... It is right next to 89a = car noise at all hours. Also, the bathroom is basically in there center and the fumes pervade the campsite (at least site #6!). Really, not terrible, but not the place I had in mind.

The creek was great but the campsites are way too close together with nothing separating them.

Manzanita Campground is a beautiful place surrounded by very tall trees & a lovely creek running alongside most of the tent spaces. It is very clean & the campground host is a very special lady. Her name is Lydia & she makes you feel so special from the time you arrive till you depart. The campground is only 6 miles from Sedona, Arizona which is also very beautiful.

Campground is an easy drive to Sedona. Even though it is literally right along the scenic highway, it is down below it and the traffic noise is not all that bad. At night the traffic pretty much comes to an end and it's quite peaceful. Nice river access as well. The only thing that was bad about it was the entry and exit to the campground.
