The campground was very green and very clean. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We took Lisa’s recommendation and drove down to the East fork of the Black River. Beautiful! We saw two ospreys on a large nest.

We have made this an annual event with friends and everyone loves this trip. We stay in the group site. It has a huge Ramada for cooking, group meals and playing games. Bathrooms are close. We spend a day at Sunrise Ski Resort for ziplining, Alpine Coaster and chairlift scenic ride. Arizona is beautiful! Quick trip to Alpine or Greer for lunch and a beer, hanging out at the camp, paddleboarding on Big Lake. Love it

The site I was at was on a slope, which made it difficult to level the unit from front to back. The camp host supplied me with additional equipment to raise the front of my trailer up high enough. The area is beautiful and well maintained and the hosts are helpful and friendly.

Fantastic and spacious campground. Camp hosts very friendly. Loved that we had full hookups at a national forest. The only negative we have about this campground is that showers and dumpsters are inconveniently locked from 7pm-7am.

The camp hosts were particularly nice and very helpful. We were there in the middle of the week, and things were pretty quiet, just what we needed.

Nice to be out of the valley and enjoying the trees, lake, and rain/thunderstorms. Wish we could have stayed longer. This was our second time there this Summer! Love Big Lake!
