What Guests Are Saying
Apache Trout Campground is a well-maintained, beautiful location with friendly and helpful hosts, making it a favorite for annual trips among many campers. The facilities, including clean bathrooms and the proximity to Big Lake, enhance the camping experience, while the spacious group sites cater well to families and friends. Some minor inconveniences, such as locked showers at night and occasional noise from neighboring campers, have been noted, but overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment and excellent service.

Noisy kids next door. Parents did nothing to keep them quiet.
Across camp site was the gathering place for other site campers creating more noise throughout night.

Camp hosts were excellent. But loud generators running all night at campsite next to hours combined with all night (until 4 am )parties was enough to make us leave two days early. Terrible overall experience. We will never go back.

Marina shamelessly scammed me out of a propane stove. Site was filled with gravel. Bathrooms and potable water were nice though

It’s always a pleasure to come to Apache trout campground. The camp host are always helpful and very knowledgeable. Depending on what time of year you come, you can see wildlife and their babies. It’s also fun to visit , the nearby town of Greer.
