The site I was at was on a slope, which made it difficult to level the unit from front to back. The camp host supplied me with additional equipment to raise the front of my trailer up high enough. The area is beautiful and well maintained and the hosts are helpful and friendly.

Fantastic and spacious campground. Camp hosts very friendly. Loved that we had full hookups at a national forest. The only negative we have about this campground is that showers and dumpsters are inconveniently locked from 7pm-7am.

The campground was very green and very clean. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We took Lisa’s recommendation and drove down to the East fork of the Black River. Beautiful! We saw two ospreys on a large nest.

This is one of our favorite campsites, and we try to get there several times each year. There are full hook-ups in the Apache Trout Campground that make this very convenient for us. The staff is excellent, and we always look forward to seeing Mark and Lisa each year, as well as the other campground hosts. The campgrounds are well maintained and very clean. We are making plans to hold a reunion at their group campsite next year as well as our normal trips.
