The facilities, including clean bathrooms and the proximity to Big Lake, enhance the camping experience, while the spacious group sites cater well to families and friends. This is a really great camp site. Beautiful lake and relatively private, wooded sites. The camp site staff were really helpful and the bathroom and shower facilities are the cleanest I've probably ever experienced. The only negative is the effects of the climate change. Many trees are dead and many others are dying. Dozens of dead trees lie rotting near the sites. Some areas were clear cut and replanted with saplings. It's tragic and depressing. But, at least we got to enjoy cheap, filthy, energy for 50 years since discovering their devastating effects, so it's all worth it, right? Wrong, the science now predicts there will be essentially no snow in the western US in 35 to 50 years. This past winter produced the lowest snow pack on record. Consider the consequences of that.... No water, no trees, no electricity, huge forest fires, extinction of species, mass migration, etc. Yet, glancing at the camp sites around us revealed one enormous gas guzzling monster truck after another. What irony... Nobody would camp there and dump all their garbage on the ground, but we seem to have no hesitation camping there and dumping all our emissions in the air where they will remain for 100 years. So in conclusion, If you want to enjoy this amazing camp site, I suggest you do so soon. It won't be worth visiting for much longer. 😞

Clean and beautiful campgrounds, well spaces apart. The layout made it very easy to park the RV. I appreciated the privacy of the bathrooms using the single rooms with locking doors. It would be nice to have hand soap at the sinks to wash hands.

I was disappointed in the lack of gravel/Rock that was in the campsite and road, It was so dusty, they need to do some maintenance on the campsites since they now have raised some of the rates

A beautiful campground in the Aspens and Pines by Big Lake. Bathrooms and showers are a nice plus. This campground is very busy. I believe all the full hook up sites were occupied, but we were able to reserve a non-hook up site roughly a week prior to our trip (only stayed 1 night) and at that time there were about sites 4 left. We did not use the RV dump, but that is always very helpful to have available. The operators were friendly.
