Breathtaking views along the South Kaibab Trail! Tented overnight near Phantom Ranch. Followed-up with a 2nd night at Havasupai Gardens. Best by those in tip-top condition. Do your research, pack light and bring plenty of water/electrolytes.

So GRAND, this is where I first came into the park and stopped and was mind blown. The views were so crazy I immediately had to call someone and tell them and send pictures haha. If you’ve been putting off coming please find some time to do! All the hikes and view points are so amazing! From here I headed to south kabob hike and hiking down the canyon was so insane and each level down the canyon offers amazing views!

Whenever I am in Arizona, I try to stop at the Grand Canyon. Sunrise or sunset is always worth the extra hour out of my way. If you are military veteran, be sure to get a forever pass for national parks. It works here and so many other places!
