My recent stay at Sunshine Mile RV Park was nothing short of delightful! From the moment I pulled in, I was greeted by the friendly and accommodating manager, Rose. Her warmth and professionalism set the tone for my entire visit.

The cleanliness of the park was impeccable - it was evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining the grounds and facilities. After a busy day exploring the nearby street fair, returning to a spotless environment was a true pleasure.

One of the highlights for me was the hot shower facilities. There's nothing quite like a refreshing shower after a day of adventure, and Sunshine Mile RV Park delivered on that front. The hot water was plentiful and the facilities were well-maintained.

As a pet owner, I was pleased to find a designated doggie area on-site. While it may have been small, it was perfect for my fur baby to stretch her legs and take care of business.

Overall, my experience at Sunshine Mile RV Park was exceptional. The combination of friendly staff, cleanliness, and amenities made for a truly memorable stay. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip through the area. Thank you, Rose, and the entire team, for your hospitality!

We had a great five week stay here. Making plans to come back next winter!

👍 close to the center of town - only a 20 min walk
👍 a welcoming community of neighbors
👍 across the road from Safeway - very convenient
👍 concrete slabs - we enjoyed our quiet corner spot!
👍 great value, friendly management
👍 convenient to visit the national park

We will be back!

Pros:
1) Location is the best attribute. Close to everything around the center of Tucson. Two to three miles away from a noisy freeway, but close enough to hop on to get to other attractions around Tucson.
2) Rose is very polite and friendly.
3) Sites are pretty level and with gravel and concrete slabs.
4) Pricing is reasonable
Cons:
1) Made reservations in early January for a weeks stay on 3rd week of March. Paid an extra $10 "Lock Site Fee" to ensure our site of choice. Get here and our site was given to someone else. Rose said we were suppose to be there one day before, and gave site to someone else. We showed our reservations that clearly stated our arrival date and Rose realized she made a big mistake. She told us to go into another site and went outside the office and she didn't realize someone was already in that site as well. She assigned us to a third different site that was probably a little too small for us, but we made it work. She did refund the "Lock Site Fee".
2) There is only one private bathroom with one sink, shower, and toilet. The sink doesn't have any running water. The toilet never had TP the whole week we were there. The shower did have running water, but I wouldn't advise using the bathroom as a whole because it was very dirty and poorly maintained.
3) The multiple trash cans were over flowing until picked up by the city on Friday. Behind trash cans is a junk heap of old construction materials and miscellaneous trash that is very unsightly.

I stayed here while traveling for work and left after only two weeks due to serious safety concerns. As a solo female traveler, I did not feel secure at all. My electric bike was stolen, and when I asked the manager about security footage, I was simply told, “We didn’t see anything.”

There’s no fence or real security, and homeless individuals frequently walk through the area. Trash bins are often overflowing, and early morning truck deliveries make it noisy and disruptive. The RV spaces are also extremely cramped, offering little privacy or peace.

The only upside is the location (2stars), it’s close to a grocery store and was convenient for my job. But safety should come first. If you’re a solo traveler, especially a woman, I highly recommend finding another RV site that takes security more seriously. Reservation was back in November.
