Bonita Canyon Campground is praised for its picturesque setting, well-maintained facilities, and clean restrooms, making it a favorite for many repeat visitors. Campers appreciate the spacious, shaded sites and the beautiful hiking trails nearby. Always love staying here! It's such a clean and friendly campsite. We saw lots of wildlife on both days of our trip. The bathrooms were clean and within a good distance of our campsite. A ranger stopped by to say hello and remind of us some safety rules while on the campsite. We will definitely be coming back to stay here and visit the beautiful monument.

This is a beautiful, secluded campground that serves as a great base camp for hiking around in the Chiricahua National Monument. With vehicles limited to <24’, it feels more old school than some campgrounds. Loved the hiking and the scenery.

Camp host came and introduced herself upon our arrival. Very nice lady. Campground was very clean. Since the area was under a flash flood, camp host was informative of 'what if's' situation (we were tent camping). The trail leading out of the campground and past the visitor center was an easy, slow incline. We did total of 3 mi (out and back). Echo Canyon Loop Trail was amazing! Around 4.4 mi weaving through the canyon. We did get rained on at the very end but it was worth the hike. But keep in mind, water would have washed over the trail (in a few spots) at the bottom of the canyon on this hike. Highly recommend watching the sunset at the very top of the paved road. Most spectacular views!
