What Guests Are Saying
Bonita Canyon Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and well-maintained sites, making it a lovely and peaceful place to camp. Hikers enjoy the breathtaking views and trails nearby, and the campground's quiet atmosphere enhances the overall experience. However, it has limited space for large RVs, no cell service, and some sites can be quite close together, which may be a downside for some campers.

The campground was beautiful, clan and with real bathrooms. Site were small but well maintained. We were confused on the no campfire rule, we read that online but then arrived and saw everyone making campfires in the bbq’s provided. We didn’t bring any wood to make a fire, would have liked clarification on that. The only other bummer was no scooters or bicycles for the kids. Such a shame those are some of my best camping memories. That and no ohs on half the trails. So for our family not anywhere that we would return and now we know more what to ask about or look for before we go.

Nice campground, clean bathrooms, met nice people. Lot #3 not great, but I waited until the last minute to reserve so there wasn't much to pick from. Drive to campground and drive to Echo Canyon parking lot was great, hardly any traffic. Hiked 3.2 mile Echo Canyon Loop, beautiful, moderate - easy hike. Also walked nature trails in the area that were beautiful, lots of deer. I had loud neighbors with barking off leash dogs and what appeared to be too many vehicles. Park rangers spoke to, and second night they were quieter. If it weren't for loud neighbors, I would give 5 star.

The group site is fabulous! We had 16 students and 3 guides and the space suited our needs. Great tent pads, bear boxes and an awesome fire pit! Quiet, great wildlife, a wonderful place to stay. Will be back!
