Chiricahua NM is a beautiful park with great hiking and scenery. The campground is rustic, but very much enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of camping here.!

This campground is a lush oasis rising above the local desert, and leading to the most amazing area of rock formations to be seen anywhere. The spaces in the campground are rather tight, and not well suited for large RVs or trailers. The
Mexican Jays were everywhere and very lively. One of the nicest places to camp in Arizona.

I have stayed @ Bonita campground 3 times. It was always super clean. I stayed at 3 different campsites but all closer to the bathrooms. The bathrooms are also very clean with auto toilets & sink. Highly recommended.

We
stayed in #18 which was a great site. Bathrooms clean, potable water available at spigots. Jean, the host, was super-nice and available.
One small hitch was that when we returned from hiking, a group of people were picnicking in our site, even though there are signs prohibiting day use activities in the campground.

Space 20 for RV's was constructed facing the wrong way for backing in towed campers. I had to drive the opposite way on one ways both in and out to be able to park... poor planning. It clearly is a life/safety issue that can/should be modified.

It is helpful to see a campground map, as the size of the sites varies quite a bit. Beautiful and quiet.
