Campground was very shady with lot of trees and clean bathrooms but the camp host walking a dog was very rude she was very annoying shouting at everyone for no good reasons including children’s spoiling the stay for everyone not only us our neighbors and other campers felt the same. Especially the campsite 25 had no room to fit 2 cars as mentioned on description as one spot was completely blocked by the metal trash bin placement the camp host reading the rulebook and no alternate options provided and asked us to park outside the park where literally no overnight parking available around the park leading frustrations. Stay away if you want a peaceful camping experience.

My boyfriend and I camped at bonita campground during 4th of july weekend. We had a good experience except for our loud neighbors :/. The campsites are very close together so if you have loud neighbors you are out of luck unfortunately. We ended up doing some walking to get away. The bathrooms were very clean and the host was friendly. They have bear boxes to store food. No campfires or hammocks were allowed. I would go back but i highly recommend reserving the spot next to the campsite as well to have more privacy and peace. Also, the dark skies were incredible!

The campsite was spacious, flat tent beds, convenient to water and bathroom, nice and open. The place itself is always wonderful as you can tell by it being our third time here despite living in New York
