Bonita Canyon Campground

Very pleasant experience. Volunteer campground ranger moved us to the group site because our original tent site was next to her camper that has electric hook in order to run her air Conditioner.
It would be nice it all Park campgrounds took care in placing tent sites away from camper sites.
There is nothing worse than tenting next to mechanical hums and noises from RV's and campers

I have been to Bonita Canyon Campground a few times and those times were amazing. Not this visit. We had space number 8. When we arrived we stopped at the visitor Center and they said the water was going to be shut off the next day due to some leak! But, when we got to our campsite there was a gentleman shutting the water off and locking the bathrooms. The worse part was they had placed 2 stinking porta potties basically in our campsite! It stunk. You could smell sewage that leaked out from underneath. Horrible experience and a waste of money we left.

Camp sites were great even for motorcycle camping. Platforms for tents, shade, tables, running water at the site. Perfect location for access to scenic views and off road trails on the bike. Park employee at the camp site was friendly and helpful. A little noisy with kids in the AM but that's the nature of things wherever you go now.

Very nice, quiet, peaceful, and clean camp ground. We did some fun and great hiking in the Chiricahua’s and then relaxed at our campsite.
Definitely recommend.

I stayed in site # 2 which is at the north end of the campground, quiet and beautiful as it was a Monday and the camp was almost empty.
I always enjoy the Chiricahuas views and hikes into the hoodoo lands. The night skies are a bortle 2 rating so it's a great location to photograph the Milky Way and other nighttime wonders.

Nice shaded campsite made for a comfortable June camping experience!
