Excellent location to Monument. Amenities are minimal but location makes up for a lot. Site 18 was big enough for our 25' Airstream and 22' van parked in front of the trailer. We did not drag the ground at the creek crossings but have a 3" lift on the Airstream.

Bonita campground reminds me of my favourite camping trips taken with my grandparents. The sites are spacious, with numerous trees, wildlife, birds, friendly people.

Lovely being nestled among the trees and having a place to walk the dogs along the creek trail. If you have a trailer or rv larger than 24 feet, therer are few options for sites and you should be good at backing up in tight quarters. Site 14 worked well for our trailer which is 24 feet long. Go to Masai Point at sunset. It's a good 45 minutes to Wilcox for supplies. So come prepared.

A small but beautiful campground in the bend of a creek within a gorgeous piece of the earth. If you don’t have time to take a hike, at the very least drive to the top of the mountain for the views.
