What Guests Are Saying
Bonita Canyon Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and well-maintained sites, making it a lovely and peaceful place to camp. Hikers enjoy the breathtaking views and trails nearby, and the campground's quiet atmosphere enhances the overall experience. However, it has limited space for large RVs, no cell service, and some sites can be quite close together, which may be a downside for some campers.

I stayed a two sites #8 and #3. #8 is ADA and more spacious. #3 is much tighter and had to park my towing truck sideways. The restrooms were being improved so not accessible. There are sinks to dispose of grey water only. Nice park with shade so it can negatively affect the charging rate of solar panels. The drive and hikes are great. The washes are deep but passable with an Escape E19 lifted pulled by a Toyota Tacoma.

Absolutely fabulous campground - beautiful, clean, well-kept, quiet, etc. I never once spotted trash on the ground. Trash & recycling receptacles, as well as potable water and special canisters for ashes, were conveniently located around the small campground. The drive up the mountain to Massai Point only takes 5-10 minutes. I highly recommend taking the beautiful walk from the far end of the campground down to Faraway Ranch. It was absolutely beautiful in the evening. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife along that walk (we spotted lots of turkeys).

Very clean bathroom, very impressed! Most of the campsites are covered by trees. Very beautiful! Will definitely go back again and again!

One of the nicest, cleanest campgrounds we've stayed in. It is nestled so perfectly in the surroundings. New bathrooms are great.
