Our stay was Awesome! The campsite was impeccably clean and we were the first ones to use the brand new grill! It was fun watching the deer and turkeys walk through camp. Luckily we never saw the bear who left scat 20 yards from camp. The only downfall was the 2 other campers who came into our campsite to rudely complain about us using a generator. We had checked the website before we went and quite time is 8pm to 8am. At 7pm two nights this happened. We even checked with the host.
I would definitely go back to this beautiful campground!

Another wonderful visit to my favorite park in AZ, Chiricahua MM. Plan at least 2 nights in order to see more the park. We took the shuttle up to Massai Point and hiked back to the visitor center. We hiked Echo Canyon Loop and the late afternoon lighting was amazing in the Grotto - brought out the colors and shadows. We looked at the night sky from the road - unbelievable number of stars and even saw the Milky Way. Walked around Far Away Ranch and through the area where the CCC lived while building the trails in the Park. Very nice Visitor Center with staff who all knew everything there is to know about the Park!! The only down side is we did not get to see the Coatimundi 'squadron' and the 4 mo old kittens. We did see lots of birds, many from our campsite. Thanks for another great visit.
