My wife enjoyed our brief two-night stay here. This campground is very clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed bird watching and an easy walk around the lake.

The sites are nice. We were disappointed that we could not have a campfire. Given the amount of rain and lack of dry grass I don't understand why the fire danger level was such that fires were not permitted.
There is no water at each site, but there is a spigot by the restrooms. Unfortunately all the spigots were turned off and we had to get water from a giant drum by the Camp Host site. That was a ways from our site and my daughter and I had to carry pots and pans to and from to get water to our site. Had we been told the water was off, we would have bought some jugs in town before driving out to the campsite. Also, there is no running water in the restrooms.

Lovely spot. I was able to make weekday reservations a day or so beforehand, which is great. The "lake" is looking a bit haggard and dry, but overall the campground was really spacious and pleasant.

Make sure you fill your RV with water. Their faucets are not working, so you have to keep going to the host for water. A little frustrating.

From Williams, Arizona, take I-40 east to exit 165. Turn north onto State Highway 64 toward Grand Canyon and go a mile to the campground entrance on the left.
Kaibab Lake Campground is accessible via I-40, with exit 165 leading to State Highway 64, which is one mile from the campground entrance.
Elevation: 2074 feet

General
- Standard Single Family sites: Recreation Use Fee allows ONE camping unit ONLY. Double and Group sites: Refer to Specific Site # for capacity limits.
- Potable water and hydrants are for drinking only; filling water tanks in motorhomes and RVs is not allowed due to limited supplyThis facility does not offer a dump station; please plan accordingly.No utility hookups.
- FIRST COME FIRST SERVE sites must be booked in person. DO NOT call to determine availability, as they are only available on-site.
- Late Arrivals: campers are not considered a "no-show" until 24 hours after arrival date. Our policy is that your site will not be released before that.
