What Guests Are Saying
Kaibab Lake Sites and Group Areas is a well-maintained campground, offering spacious sites surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife, including squirrels and birds. Visitors appreciate the clean bathrooms, friendly hosts, and proximity to amenities in nearby Williams. However, the lake is currently very low, which has disappointed some campers, and noise from nearby roads can be an issue for tent campers.

Very pretty area and a good view of the lake during the day and the Milky Way at night. You can see your neighbors, but the sites are large enough and far enough away that it still feels mostly private. I don't know if this is always the case, but everyone around us was quiet and respectful. The morning birdsong was excellent with many different species, and I even saw a bald eagle! The only reason I'm not giving it full marks is because we could hear the highway constantly, even at night, and every once and a while we got a waft of the toilet smell. But a different site might make a difference for one or both of those issues.

This is a beautiful and immaculantly maintained campground, just a few miles outside of Williams AZ. The weather was mild even in early August owing to the altitude. Only warning is that the mosquitos are VERY hungry.

Love this campground right on the lake. Paved streets and paved site for our RV. Clean restrooms. Close proximity to Williams where we enjoyed shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend Red Raven restaurant. Great food and ambiance. Be sure to make a reservation. Also, only 25 minutes to Flagstaff and easy drive to the Grand Canyon.

Our camp host, John, was amazing. Very helpful. The campground was clean and so were the individual sites. We enjoyed our visit and will be back.

The campground was easy to find.
The sites in A loop were spaced away from each other nicely.
Quiet at night.
