Had to leave early because of generator problems but have always enjoyed our stays there. The hosts are very nice and take care of things very well. We will be back in sept.

The campground is very well managed with great hosts. Super clean vault toilets. Sites are spaced nicely and mostly level, but do bring leveling gear. Easy access to the lake (low, but useable for kayaking and fishing). We’ll be back!

The campgrounds had many pull-through and plenty of room for large rv’s/trailers and the group sites looked nice. The night skies were so beautiful, we could see tons of stars and satellites. The lake was picturesque and bald eagles flew from the trees, though it was very muddy at the shoreline to wear my feet would sink and get stuck as I was trying to get into my kayak. I took one star away because we were next to a campground bathroom/outhouse and it smelled horrible, just sitting outside we would get whiffs of it. We were in spot 50, avoid any spots near a restroom.

The campground was great except for lack of water due to tank repairs. Disappointed that I had to move from one side of the campground to the other after the first night even though reserved site 17 was unoccupied that night. Another camper had the same problem of a reserved site remaining unoccupied. The people reserving sites and not showing up should be penalized.

Worth the double spot fee! We could hear some traffic but when the elk came to graze every evening we forgot all about that.

Make sure you fill your RV with water. Their faucets are not working, so you have to keep going to the host for water. A little frustrating.
