While the weather was horrible, the staff and the campground were excellent. The campsite was cleaned and was impeccable. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. As always, the staff went above and beyond to make everything wonderful. As a single woman camping alone, I know that they were looking out for me and I felt entirely safe.

The campground was well maintained. Sites are spaced far enough apart that you have privacy. Camp hosts were very friendly, and knowledgeable about the area.

Camp Hosts are awesome. Knowledgeable about the park, Fishing and what is going on around the area. Park is always clean and well monitored. I have one problem; however, if you require that people not take their dogs into the restrooms as they are out walking their dogs, you need to provide a place for guests to restrain their dogs outside of the restroom. You cannot leave your dog loose outside or unattended. And, there is always the fear of someone stealing your pet. What harm is there in having a dog with you in the restroom, especially during the middle of the night? This seems strange in that while out walking you never know when you might need the restroom.

Campsites were quite nice. Pit toilets vary clean for that style of facility. Staff was the reason of the lower rating of 4 instead of 5. Staff approached us and was concerned that our Jeep was driven in rather than towed which would require an additional fee. Blue Ox tow bar was clearly on motorhome and we towed the Jeep in during daylight hours, past four separate campground hosts. they should have been more observant rather than accusatory. The rest of our stay staff was pleasant with no further issues.
