Very nice clean quiet campground. Easy to find , roads all paved as our the aprons. The water in the lake is muddy but the overall beauty of the campground and forest makes up for it.

The only thing lacking was cell phone service, but then you go camping to get away from the rest of the world & relax!

I really enjoyed my stay here! My boyfriend and I reserved site 51 in loop D for a night on a weekend near the end of July. It was a very nice site with a picnic table, BBQ/fire ring and good spacing between our neighbors. The majority of campers there were families or older couples so everything was quiet by around 9-10 pm. You can hear the highway from the campsite, but it's really not bad and you can't even see it. As people have mentioned, the bathrooms were incredibly well maintained considering they're not flush toilets. It was probably the best smelling "outhouse" I've ever been in. Drinking water was easily accessible. The lake was pretty and had some interesting wildlife (crawdads and heron). There is a ~2 mile loop trail around the lake that we took and it was a very nice leisurely stroll. There were some people wading in the lake, but, as a reminder, no one should be swimming in the lake! We met one of the camp hosts and he was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Overall, this was a very nice campground and a perfect, safe getaway during COVID.

This is a well-developed campground with easy access to the lake. The facilities are very good even during the pandemic.

Fairly quiet, an occasional railroad horn in the distance. Fishing was not good at all. Lots of sights nearby. Grand Canyon, Bearazona and town of Williams. Water for RV is very difficult to find. Nearest was at a KOA a few miles north of this lake @ $10 minimum. The most odd thing encountered was the host nearest my site. As soon as we arrived he instructed us not to use the nearest restroom to our site. He said too many people use it! Seemed quite rude and the wife has a bad knee making walking somewhat painful so we drove to other restrooms in the campground if not using the RV's toilet. If we return, we definitely won't reserve in his loop!

I have been camping at Kaibab Lake for 10 years. I definitely do a lot of fishing. Grand Canyon is a hour away. Bearazona is a 10 minute drive. The town of Williams is also 10 minutes away. It is a worth a visit. Keep in mind that there are no flush toilets at the campground. They are kept very clean.
