What Guests Are Saying

Kaibab Lake Sites and Group Areas is a well-maintained campground, offering spacious sites surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife, including squirrels and birds. Visitors appreciate the clean bathrooms, friendly hosts, and proximity to amenities in nearby Williams. However, the lake is currently very low, which has disappointed some campers, and noise from nearby roads can be an issue for tent campers.

Campgrounds were maintained very well. Many campers enjoyed fishing and were catching trout. We enjoyed the easy walk around the lake (appx. 2 mi) and even saw two bald eagles.

Great campsite, easy access from a paved road, just 2 mi from the I-40. Clean bathrooms. The lake is a little small but overall a nice peaceful campsite.

we love this park because RVs aren't packed to each other and we can have some privacy. The park is well kept, there's always toilet paper in the bathrooms and restrooms themselves are reasonably clean. There's a nice trail near the lake and the park is 5 mi from Williams and Safeway grocery store. We've been to the park two years in a row and are planning to come again. Hosts are very cordial, nice, and helpful.

I love this campground. I love the beauty of the trees and the lake and the peacefulness of the place. I also enjoy the close proximity to Williams if I need to hit the grocery store or want to take a stroll downtown. The perfect summer getaway, but please don't go....I don't want the place to get too crowded!

Excellent park with clean facilities and helpful staff. Love the scenery and the lake. Yellow jackets have been problematic for us the last two trips there and we may not come back.

Our RV group, The Arizona Cactus Ramblers, so enjoyed our stay at Kaibab Lake last September that we're going back again this year. Perfect setting, perfect weather, nice large campsites, and the town of Williams close by to go visit along with Bearizona. The nearby lake drew some folks to try fishing but most of us just enjoyed hiking/walking in and around the campground & lake.
One thing to be aware of is the is the yellow jackets ground wasps. They look like bees and are drawn to food. Our potlucks were swarmed with the yellow jackets. We'll be better prepared for this when we are at Kaibab Lake this year.
