I was disappointed that when making reservations there were very few spots to chose from, then after spending several days there.. many of the RESERVED sites remained empty. There needs to be some penalty for no show non cancellations… so that the rest of us that want to camp can find sites.

We camped at Alpine last year and it was horribly grown up, this year was an about face..... it was cleared off all the way to the water and the campsites were very clean. A world of difference between last year and this year. Had a great time. Weather did not always allow us to be outside but that's the way it happens sometimes. Please visit this area its worth the out of the way spots.

We enjoyed our stay except the weather was kinda rough this trip. We had a few really great sunny days but we also had some snow and below freezing temps. The only complaint I really have is some of the trailer pads are really old and have dangerous drop offs around the edges that makes it hard walking. They have redone some of the pads and those are really nice with double concrete. Would like to see all the pads redone.
