Our family stayed at sites 16 and 18. I told my little grands that mimi had picked GOAT of all campsites! The playground was right behind us and the bathhouse right across the road. The weather was fantastic. We had a great time and made some wonderful memories.
If I had any complaints it would be the showers. The drainage is slow and the water did not stay hot for long at all. Maybe consider investing in updating the bathrooms/showers.

The campground was good but the restrooms were disgusting. The museums were so thick in both the restrooms and showers that we could not breathe without swallowing them. I am allergic to their bites so we could not use those facilities. The grounds were also full of them. But it was beautiful. We loved the thick forest and the view of the lake through the trees.

Site number 6 is a pass thru site, but it is horrible. Ther is a steep drop off right outside the door. To get to the picnic table area, you have to walk down this steep hill that is gravel and dirt, or mud if it is raining. You can easily slip and fall traversing this area.
Also the water and electric hookup is on the opposite side of you trailer hookups down steep hill. You better have a long hose and extensions for your electrical cable. There are many other spots which are much better.
The pics of this spot are deceiving.
Good item about spot 6, it's near the bathroom.
The bathrooms are clean and it is a nice campground overall.
I would stay here again, just in a better spot.

Quiet, peaceful, and the Edgewood hist will absolutely help you with anything if you need it.
Got dropped off right before a storm and my ride left me before helping with putting the tent up in dark.
I believe his name is rich? Or mitch? Anyways, seen i needed help, we got it up just in time before storms.
If not for him I would have slept under picnic table with all my stuff. Good man yall have there overseeing things.
