Edgewood offers a beautiful, peaceful camping experience with great access to activities like Hot Springs and Caddo River. Nice campground, grills, fire pits, playground, swim beach and restrooms with clean showers. Great spot for hunters wanting to hunt wma areas and not far from jack mountain. The showers had great pressure but didn't stay hot long. That was the only negative I could give

Our site was right on the water, beautiful views all around. Although it would be nice if they would include how far away the electrical and water hook ups are from the parking site. We had to go buy $150 extension cord... ouch

The roads were terrible, no phone service it really needed to be mowed and grounds cleaned!

I have come to Edgewood for 30 years. Will continue but the bath houses really are in great need for remodeling. Love the location very peaceful

This unstaffed, open-gated, campground seems to be used at-will by the locals. Often six or more vehicles per site.

We had an excellent stay and met with many of the rangers when we visited the various visitor centers. One ranger was absolutely amazing, John Robinson at the Iron Mountain Visitors Center. He took his time with our grandchildren to explain things around the facility as well as visit with us and answer many of our questions.

Site 40 had good view but backing into pad with long RV was a challenge. Very narrow road and deep drainage ditch in backing side. Older restrooms and showers, very hot with no ventilation in bath areas . Major ventilation work needed at restrooms.

The picnic table needs help. One bench has been destroyed by termites. Not by fault of the campsite, but there was lots of trash around the site from previous occupants.
