We had a wonderful trip planning on going back soon. We are hopeful that next year we will be back to regular reservation and walk up sites even if we have to pay online at time of occupying the site. We like having the freedom to go spur of the moment instead of having to plan every trip 6 months in advance.

Really enjoyed our first camping trip of the year and being able to get out after having to stay at home for so long. The first week was rainy and the lake level was really high, but still glad to be camping. Only down side was the neighbor had kids and grandkids staying on the weekends and they brought a barking dog. They kept it tied up outside the camper and it barked almost non stop. Overall tho it was a great trip.

When we 1st started going to Alpine it was beautiful, clean & well managed. Now it's not. It's not clean of brush or burnt off often. The ppl that clean the bathroom are great. They do very good jobs. The rangers are very nice. It would be great if the undergrowth could be managed more.
