The park is beautiful and the campsites all have electric hookups with camper pads. However, the shower houses have been very neglected over the years.

Stayed in site 64. Nice site with plenty of space. Short trail to the water. Rocky beach, and area out to about 6 ft deep. Electric and water hookups were good. Nice Playground in a well shaded area. Dump station was clean and well kept but a bit tight to get into, even with our 26 ft trailer. Only 10 min drive into Bismark and 20 min to caddo valley.

Nice site with good (somewhat dated) facilities. Very clean. Sites well spaced. Could be a little more level. Had a wonderful stay and will stay again next time we are in the area.

Nice camp ground, bathrooms were in good shape…… but there are some locals that frequent the campground after hours ,to use the showers, do laundry and argue with their spouses. They are good people, real intellectuals ……they even stopped by my camper to make sure everything was locked and secure…….

We were the only ones camping in our loop. School had just started. It was relaxing and peaceful. This has become one of our favorite spots.

Site #62
Pros: Extremely shady, right next to boat ramp, trail that goes now the hill to the water. Clean bathrooms/showers.
Cons: on an extremely steep hill, had to use 4 cinder blocks in the back of the camper & the front of the camper all the way on the ground to get level, huge holes all in the bottom of the grill, rain run off piles dirt deep all under table. Sometimes people driving boats to the ramp are going extremely fast.
All in all we enjoyed our stay & will definitely return!
