The site was extremely unlevel to the point out wheel chock shattered causing a bit of drama but we overcame it and the view was well worth it!

We loved this site! It was a nice wide mostly level site with views of the lake through the trees. Plenty of wildlife to watch. Short walk to the shower house.

Overall a good place to camp. Too much poison ivy including in the campsite area.

Made a booking error on line & didnt realize we where in the wrong site. Ranger was rude & even made a comment as if I had done it deliberately. Then come Monday the park attendees where rude . Was trying to say hello while outside at our site & them driving by.. just rude 😒 mostly him. I've stayed here over & over throughout the past 20 years. No sense in unkindness

My family had a great time! The only thing is that the campsites need some weed eating done

It may not bother some, however my sisters and I rented 3 tent spots specifically for the water access so that our kids could swim while we cooked and visited. The tent spots at 59, 60 and 61 are right on the water. However boaters continued to leave their boats right at our camp spots and block our access to the water. Not only did they leave their boats all day, they would trample right through our camp sites with all of their family and gear while loading and unloading their boats. This may not bother some but, at one point people were literally right at our tent entrance and walking right through where our belongings were. Some boaters would just hang out right at our spots with their kids, it was so close we had no privacy. They could see and hear our entire conversation while we grilled, and literally would duck u see our clothes that we had hanging to dry. I just can’t imagine invading someone’s space to the level that we had happen. We all ended up
Packing up our families a day early.
