It may not bother some, however my sisters and I rented 3 tent spots specifically for the water access so that our kids could swim while we cooked and visited. The tent spots at 59, 60 and 61 are right on the water. However boaters continued to leave their boats right at our camp spots and block our access to the water. Not only did they leave their boats all day, they would trample right through our camp sites with all of their family and gear while loading and unloading their boats. This may not bother some but, at one point people were literally right at our tent entrance and walking right through where our belongings were. Some boaters would just hang out right at our spots with their kids, it was so close we had no privacy. They could see and hear our entire conversation while we grilled, and literally would duck u see our clothes that we had hanging to dry. I just can’t imagine invading someone’s space to the level that we had happen. We all ended up

Site 22 parking pads are in good shape but the sites are not level, had to put blocks under picnic table and screen table setup was on very uneven ground. Most sites are not level. We didn’t go onto trails cause of concern about poison ivy. Restrooms clean, not all showers had spray heads. Good boat launch.

We stayed three nights and everything was nice. A very relaxing weekend. Bathrooms and showers were clean and showers were normal water control not push button. Yay. We will definitely stay here again.

Wish site camper parking was flat. Hard for this old lady to have to have back of camper where door is so jacked up in order to keep camper level.

From Interstate 30, take exit 78 and merge onto State Highway 7 north for 9 mi. Turn left onto Arlie Moore Road and continue 2 mi to campground.

General
- During the Non-Peak season certain campsites and loops will be closed. Reservations longer than 14 days will require an approved extension. Extensions can be obtained from a ranger, or the information board located at the entrance of campground.
- Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
- If arriving more than 24 hours after the start of your reservation, call (870) 246-5501 or your reservation will be cancelled and a $20 no-show fee plus the cost of the first night's stay will be charged.
- Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must be disposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands.
- No off-road vehicles permitted.
- Daily occupancy is required.
- One tent and one RV or two tents are allowed per campsite.
- All pets must be penned, caged or on a 6 foot leash at all times, No Exceptions!!!
- Persons bringing animals onto project lands are responsible for the proper removal and disposal of any waste produced by these animals.
- FIreworks are prohibited on project lands.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
