Very nice shaded campground. Has water, clean bathrooms so not much else you could ask for!

This place is nothing spectacular, but it worked ok for us. Hardly anyone there during the week. No one monitoring the entrance so just go to the site that you reserved. We like that about a lot of COE campgrounds. Utilities all worked well.

We camped on the finger that had the boat ramp and we won’t be doing that again because of the traffic going to launch boats , there were trench’s across the road from new water lines that had been put in and needed to be refilled with gravel . The people toward the end of the day were not slowing down for the speed ramps and the trenches across the road so it was pretty loud with the sound of boats almost getting bounced off their trailers right in front of our campsite . The bathrooms and showers were very clean and the overall stay was pretty nice except for the traffic.

What a great campground! The trash pick up guys came every day. The forest ranger drove through at least once a day, every day. Boat ramp is great. Spots are great and spaced out well. Restroom and showers were cleaned daily. We were there over Memorial Say weekend and the noise was very minimal. We will definitely be back!

We love staying at Arlie Moore. We were a little disappointed in the tent pads. The tent pad on our site, well we had to scrape and find it. It was covered with debris. Other than that, it was great!

From Interstate 30, take exit 78 and merge onto State Highway 7 north for 9 miles. Turn left onto Arlie Moore Road and continue 2 miles to campground.
The campground is accessible via Interstate 30, with exit 78 leading to State Highway 7 north for approximately 9 miles.

General
- During the Non-Peak season certain campsites and loops will be closed. Reservations longer than 14 days will require an approved extension. Extensions can be obtained from a ranger, or the information board located at the entrance of campground.
- Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
- If arriving more than 24 hours after the start of your reservation, call (870) 246-5501 or your reservation will be cancelled and a $20 no-show fee plus the cost of the first night's stay will be charged.
- Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must be disposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands.
- No off-road vehicles permitted.
- Daily occupancy is required.
- One tent and one RV or two tents are allowed per campsite.
- All pets must be penned, caged or on a 6 foot leash at all times, No Exceptions!!!
- Persons bringing animals onto project lands are responsible for the proper removal and disposal of any waste produced by these animals.
- FIreworks are prohibited on project lands.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
