My sister and I stayed 8 nights and were very pleased with our site. The camp hosts, Stan & Joyce were wonderful and kept the restrooms and shower house immaculate.

A specific park ranger was very rude, declined assistance in getting emergency services when we lacked cell service after being threatened by another camper. Instead, because we were emotional over being threatened and cussed while we spoke to him, we were being disrespectful and he left the park (leaving us there with the other camper without engaging them) after telling us that we had until 2:30 to vacate the premises. That this would be the only time he would call authorities. We are working to escalate the issue to higher management after speaking with his supervisor. We were told to vacate the premises because our dog barked at people around the camp. But the people who threatened us are still there. If you expect respect and assistance while staying here, you might reconsider. The campground is fairly decent but the hot water in the women’s bathroom runs out QUICK.
So, if you have a dog, I was told by the supervisor that it did not matter what time it is, if the dog barks ‘you’re out!’ So, be mindful of this as well.

It’s cheap and has better tmobile service than Edgewood. Showers are hotter than Edgewood.

The campsite is next to the lake and convenient for launching a boat. The downside is early morning noise from the boat ramp. Bathroom nearby and electricity at the campsite.

Worst Camping Trip Ever!!!
I am very disappointed in my trip.
People are not camping out at these sites they are living!! I am not joking!
My 80$ speaker was stolen.
I had to endure fighting all hours of the night!!! They were burning tires!!!
I called and spoke with John at the head facility and all he said was maybe I would be happier at Arlie Moore! What??!!!
I will never be back to Lake DeGray!
Very low class of people.
I will be going to Quachita from now on!
I know they do not allow that kind of behavior there!
Two Thumbs way DOWN 👎🏽👎🏽
