We enjoyed the peacefulness of the wooded area. We had a site on a hill with beautiful views.
A map of the campground would have been extremely helpful. We had difficulty finding our site. We did not know where the dumpsters were for two days. We encountered a dog-walker who gave us directions.

We first had site 25 reserved for the long weekend. After getting to the campground, we discovered that site 25 is literally right next to the tent sites and is very small. In our opinion, site 25 should be converted to a tent site. If you are not with a group of tent campers, and you want even the smallest amount of privacy, do not select site 25. We then were able to select another site and camped there. It was a perfect site. Edgewood is a beautiful campground with nice hot water/showers. We will be back.

Really nice campground with space between sites and level areas. Bathrooms are a little dated though clean and good water pressure in showers. We came in October so beach was not really open and had some debris that had washed up. Easy to reserve online. We enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed camping at this beautiful and peaceful campground. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful when it came to helping us pick the right spot. It was nice seeing the park ranger driving throughout the campground. We loved the beautiful lake, the accommodations, and fishing. We would recommend it for a no frills, nice camping experience.

Would have been nice to have someone there to help us find our spot. Never saw or talked to anyone. But the park is beautiful.

Nice park, lot of sites are much more level than others. Beach area sites are some of the better one, do research early if possible called recreation.gov number and they cannot change sites on same day and cost more to cancel and rebook than it was worth.
