What Guests Are Saying
Edgewood campground offers a beautiful setting with scenic views of the lake and thick forest, making it a peaceful retreat for campers. Many visitors appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, including showers, and the helpfulness of staff, particularly during emergencies. However, there are concerns about restroom cleanliness, maintenance of some sites, and the need for better communication regarding site amenities and accessibility. Overall, many guests enjoyed their stay and plan to return, albeit to different sites.

Edgewood is a beautifully shaded place with lots of room between campsites. Be sure to check which sites might have the hookups and picnic tables on the wrong side for your camper. Overall we had a very pleasant experience.

Very secluded, quiet and beautiful with lake views from almost every spot! The directions were a bit misleading. Must follow Edgewood Drive to the right at the fork where State park entrance is. DO NOT enter the state park. Shower heads could use updating, the shower heads force one to lean against the wall to get the water spray. Great water pressure though.

This was our first time at Edgewood. The place is very quiet and woodsy, and our site had a view and a trail to the water. We had a good trip after working through some of the issues with the electric & water connections. Be prepared to have extra long electric cords and water hoses because most of the connections are quite a distance from the actual campsite. Otherwise, you will love the area. Very peaceful.

We first had site 25 reserved for the long weekend. After getting to the campground, we discovered that site 25 is literally right next to the tent sites and is very small. In our opinion, site 25 should be converted to a tent site. If you are not with a group of tent campers, and you want even the smallest amount of privacy, do not select site 25. We then were able to select another site and camped there. It was a perfect site. Edgewood is a beautiful campground with nice hot water/showers. We will be back.

We enjoyed the peacefulness of the wooded area. We had a site on a hill with beautiful views.
A map of the campground would have been extremely helpful. We had difficulty finding our site. We did not know where the dumpsters were for two days. We encountered a dog-walker who gave us directions.
