What Guests Are Saying
Edgewood campground offers a beautiful setting with scenic views of the lake and thick forest, making it a peaceful retreat for campers. Many visitors appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, including showers, and the helpfulness of staff, particularly during emergencies. However, there are concerns about restroom cleanliness, maintenance of some sites, and the need for better communication regarding site amenities and accessibility. Overall, many guests enjoyed their stay and plan to return, albeit to different sites.

This a great campground. It’s not a state park but if that’s what you want that’s where you should go. If you want a quiet, peaceful location to relax then this is your place. I do not need full hookups and I do not mind having to stop at the dump station on the way out. I appreciate the COE providing this clean campground with the peaceful environment. I had a great site looking at the lake. I have a full bath in my motor home but I use it for storage while traveling and I arrived so late the first night I didn’t feel like putting everything away to use my RV shower so I used their bathhouse. It was nice and clean and hot showers with great water pressure. I am pleased with this place and will return when I am in the area.

Quiet peaceful campground. Beautiful wooded setting on the lake. Water and electric hookups. All that I needed for a relaxing vacation while working remotely. I have AT&T and was able to attend Zoom classes while I was here. Not too far from Hot Springs, Arkansas if you want to make a day trip up there to see Bathhouse Row. I am very pleased with this place and I plan to return next time I am in the area.

The campground is gorgeous, really enjoyed our stay once we moved to a new spot, unfortunately we had to lose $ in order to do it. No campsite host near by to talk to - tried calling and couldnt get a hold of anyone and it was just a pain bc even when I called Rec.gov, reception was so bad that after being on phone on hold and then getting to talk to someone the call dropped again. This site, #32, is a ridiculous site for a camper, best for tent camping as your out in the road with your camper and slide outs stick out, its on a hill and doesnt level out. Also be advised this campground is covered in poison ivy. We would totally go back here again, and just choose one of the other lovely sites, but never #32!
