Some pads could use updates, but all in all a great stay. Camp hosts were very nice and helpful.
Area was peaceful and campers friendly.
This is my go to spot on Lake Degray.

Most of the sites are outdated and have broken up asphalt. A few have been up dates with nice wide concrete pads but Edgewood is a great campground in a great location.

We come here every year and this year the area was much improved over last year. Restrooms and showers were clean and functional. Roads were improved and the campground host was friendly. He apparently was covering other camping areas on Lake DeGray also and wasn't in the office very often but it wasn't a problem for us to check in when he was available. He also was seen all over the campground trimming weeds along with other groundskeepers - an energetic multi-tasker! As always, we plan to return next year for a week-long stay sometime in June.

Bathrooms and showers were clean. Our site was on a cut through road so we enjoyed much less traffic coming by our site.

The overall grounds needed to be better upkept. If I didn't have an access pass and had to pay full price I would have been very disappointed.

We enjoyed our family, but as we reported last year, the campground is in need of much repair. The bathrooms are dismally in need of repair and the road through is filled with big enough potholes to damage a camper as you drive through.

From Interstate 30, take exit 78 and merge onto State Highway 7 north for 6 miles. Turn left on Edgewood road and continue 2 miles to the campground.

During the Non-Peak season certain campsites and loops will be closed. Reservations longer than 14 days will require an approved extension. Extensions can be obtained from a ranger, or the information board located at the entrance of campground. |

Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander. |

If arriving more than 24 hours after the start of your reservation, call (870) 246-5501 or your reservation will be cancelled and a $20 no-show fee plus the cost of the first night's stay will be charged. |

Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must be disposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands. |
