What Guests Are Saying
Iron Mountain campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, friendly park rangers, and peaceful surroundings, making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts. However, many reviews highlight a significant ant problem, which can be a nuisance for campers. While some sites are rustic and may require more maintenance, the overall experience is enjoyable for those looking to relax in nature.

We didn't have any food or drinks out and we were infested with ants every where in our tents and in our vehicles. We had to go get ant spray in order to keep them out of our tent and off of us at night. Everyone around us had the same issue. I would not recommend this camp site to any one.

What a wonderful campground. Spacious e sites . The only draw back was we were heading west and on I-40 and followed directions on Google maps. The campground was at least 20 mi from interstate. We had to cross a very narrow bridge with our small cargo trailer. The cars at the end of bridge waited so we could cross safely.Large RVs I don’t think could have maneuvered the bridge or the extremely narrow curvy roads . Leaving the park it was much easier and shorter route to get back to interstate. No WI-FI
