What Guests Are Saying
Iron Mountain campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, friendly park rangers, and peaceful surroundings, making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts. However, many reviews highlight a significant ant problem, which can be a nuisance for campers. While some sites are rustic and may require more maintenance, the overall experience is enjoyable for those looking to relax in nature.

It was quiet, inexpensive, and a good stop on our journey. We were the only ones there.

Always an enjoyable experience. I love to stay here for the peace and quiet. Restrooms are rustic but clean.

It would have been perfect if it hadn't been for the ants everywhere, but once we went and bought some ant granular and put it out it was a whole lot better , but enjoyed the time we was there another then the ants

Ants were terrible!!! In the trees, on the ground, everywhere! The camper became infested within a couple of hours. Camp sites were ok but really tight. Doubtful we will go back.

The campsite was great, and the view was beautiful. My only critique is that there was never soap in the restroom.

Surprisingly quite on beautiful weekend. All facilities around the campsite were working and clean.
Mountain bike trails in great shape and lake water was beautiful.
Great breeze at the campsites kept things from being too warm.

The campground was nice with a beautiful setting. I’d probably have rated it higher if not for the stormy weather that chased us off early and cut the electricity (no lights in the rest rooms).
