It was ok not the greatest place we have camped not to mention someone was set up on our campsite that we had paid for but it all worked out on the campsite no parent supervision on watching kids riding bikes

Point Cedar is a very quiet campground. We were in site 8. It was nice and level. It had a steep slope at the rear to the water behind the site. The bathroom across our site was old but clean (no showers). The restroom closer to site 16 was very nice with 4 units . Each unit had a large private room with a toilet, hot shower, shower seat, and change bench. The choice sites (sites 17 thru 20-something) remained booked for our 1 week stay. The rest of the campground was empty. We gazed at the stars at night, went fishing in the day, did a driving tour to several recreation areas in the Ouachita Nat. Forest, and dug for quartz crystals near Mount Ida. We had a great time.
