Cell coverage poor, campsites need updating/resurfacing, water stations inoperable, bathrooms/shower houses in fair shape but are in need of serious attention, shower heads missing, tiles broken and missing, overall campground needs serious attention.

We have camped at Shouse Ford multiple times over the years. It is a beautiful place! As far as a campground, the cell service is terrible. I realize that could be a good thing, but we had a tornado warning in the area and couldn't get service...not cool. There is no water hook ups at the sites. There is no sewage hook ups at the sites. The pads are older asphalt type material with multiple uneven areas. You must take your trash to the bathrooms to dispose. The bathrooms are kept clean and are heated when appropriate. Water can be obtained at the bathrooms via outside sinks. The employees providing clean up are very nice and friendly.

Spring break is always a great time to camp and most quality campgrounds are full, so we stayed an extra week!!

Great spot, ours was very wide, level, concrete. Wish you had water and sewer hook-ups at the sites. Very little cell service, almost no tv, but we were there with friends and didn't really need either. This is our 3rd or 4th time here. We will be back.

Pretty spot. Great Lake access. The only down side was there was a 2” drop from the road to the site. I think it would be very tight to drive our 40’ trailer around if all of the sites were full and vehicles were parked right by the road.

My husband and I camped at Shouse Ford one week ago. First time we had been there. We had a great time. We road our bicycle around the park and seen several deer. The park was nice and quiet and met some really nice people. We are already planning to go back. We are new to camping. I think this is the right site we have been to. Even despite no water or septic, it was my favorite.

From Interstate 30, take exit 78 and merge onto State Highway 7 north to Bismarck. Turn left on State Highway 84 and go 9 miles west to Point Cedar. Turn left onto Shouse Ford road and continue 4 miles to the campground.
