Was there to visit friends in Fort Smith. Nice place for a short stay. Needs full hookups to make the excellent grade.

Once arriving at our site, the surge protector showed not neutral present on the electrical box, and we were unable to plug in as we did not want to take the chance of harming our wiring. The park attendants were not returning our calls for several hours. Finally, my husband had to drive up to the office to try to get assistance. He found another park volunteer that came down and looked at it but he didn’t think there was a problem with it. He said others have plugged into it and we should too. That could have burnt our electrical panel and they did not care. After leaving multiple voice mails another park maintenance person arrived but he was not sure he could repair it and there were no available sites to move to. Therefore, we had to drive to another RV park to see if they had availability. By the time we returned the box was fixed. They truly are not customer focused, and we were beyond frustrated. We were there 4 days and, on the evening, before we departed the Park Range came to our site with a condescending attitude about how we communicated with the park attendants without understanding our side of the story. He implied we should leave at which my husband said we would leave in the morning. He also threatened us with a ticket if we drove past the gate too fast which we never had. All to say, we will NEVER stay there again!

I was not happy to find when I got there that the bathrooms at side A were closed for construction. And the bathrooms at side B were a mile and a half away. I double-checked after arrival, and the website did not say anything about the bathrooms being closed. Since I travel in a van without a toilet, this made things a bit challenging. Otherwise, it was a nice place and mostly quiet except for some road noise from the nearby highway.
