Flooding required entering from the west side, but the campground is wonderful! The site for my motorhome was concrete, level, and right on the water. Bathrooms were near and CLEAN! The pavilion was a great place for our group to gather. Great campground!

I live nearby and this is my go to camping spot. Grounds and facility are always clean. I always feel safe camping here. The shower facility was clean and provided privacy. Highly recommend.

Park was clean and hosts were very helpful. Located near Fort Smith there were lots of amenities nearby. Consider a trip to the US Marshals Museum. It appears that new restrooms /showers are being built but at the time of our stay there was no open restrooms /showers open in loop A (one mile to facilitate at other end of park). Recreation.gov should indicate when facilities are out of service. Just south of the park is the approach to Fort Smith Regional Airport with commercial airlines and military aircraft flying days and nights. So the campground was somewhat noisy.

Friendly helpful staff and everyone we met was a happy camper. The only downside was the bath/showers in loop A were not ready so we had to drive to the other area to shower
