What Guests Are Saying
Choctaw offers a beautiful and well-maintained campground with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant spot for camping. Many guests appreciate the spacious campsites and scenic views, particularly in D-Section, and highlight the attentive service from staff like Ms. Jeannie. However, some reviews mention issues with bathroom cleanliness and a lack of water hookups at the sites, which detracted from their overall experience.

Awesome place, weather was perfect. Just wish there was more 50 amp sites, water and sewer. Otherwise I would highly recommend this place.

A single drive was the joint access point for our campsite and the adjoining site. Although we reserved our spot two weeks in advance, we could not access it because am oversized 5th wheel occupied the adjoining site and did not park far enough back to not block our access. (The 5th wheel was 40' when the limit for the space is listed at 36'.) Also, when we arrived those occupants had a second vehicle parked in our reserved spot. The on-site manager refused to do anything about it and only suggested another spot. The rig size should have been verified when the people checked in and the manager should have been willing to enforce the rules and not make us the bad guys for insisting we get what we had paid for. We had driven an hour to get there, arriving just in time to get set up before dark, but to no avail (while the people in the spot said they lived just five minutes away). We had to try to find an acceptable alternate spot in the dark. If the park won't enforce their rules, then it's the rule keepers who get hurt. Campers beware. You may not get what you pay for.

- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee.
