Stayed in February so no water and restrooms are closed for the winter but they let you no that before you book so not a problem. Many of the sites could use some work on the driveways but some have been fixed recently so looks like they are working on that.
Was quiet, only one other camper.

Staff was very helpful and made us feel like they were glad we were there. Campground had spacious sites overlooking the lake. When traveling to the campground carefully check the routing. It would be best to travel into DeQueen city before heading to the campground. The default GPS routing will send your RV over several miles of very steep gravel logging roads.

Very Peaceful stay! The Park Host and Park Rangers were very attentive and welcoming. We were having problems with the App and the staff were so helpful and nice. They keep a close watch on people entering the campground which is nice and made us feel safe. We are from Texas and many of the lakes permit people to not pay or drive through all hours of the night. It is worth the drive for us to stay at this campground. Trash is emptied multiple times a day as well as bathrooms cleaned. We will continue to come back.

THIS IS OUR FAVORITE PARK TO GOTO. IT IS CLEAN AND ALL FACILITITES WORK WELL. LOTS OF ROADS TO RIDE BIKES ON AND TRAILS TO WALK. THE PEOPLE AT THE GATE ARE SUPER NICE AND WILL HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING. WE WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN IN THE FALL. THERE ARE GOOD RESTURANTS IN DEQUEEN TO EAT AT . OKLOHOMA IS JUST 20 MILES AWAY.

Really confused on why our water source was on the opposite side of the electric. Had to run to town and get an additional hose

Bottom of grill has huge hole in it, speed limit sign was replaced with new one which I thought wasn’t needed (waste of tax payers money) sign near Corp office destroyed and grill at site #31 has still yet to be replaced. If money is going to be spent it needs to be spent on needed things.
