Everything was great. Just wished other campers would be respectful and clean up their mess before they leave. Previous campers dumped all of their cooking oil out in the gravel at the campsite.

We went during a cold snap in March, and couldn’t have been more pleased. Stayed in Site #38, and we were one of very few parties camping. Felt like we had the lake to ourselves. The restroom and shower facilities nearest our site were cleaned and stocked regularly, and the delightful couple at the gate house were so welcoming. Only a 20 minute drive into town for some necessities, this is a gem. Just know that if you’re coming from/through Broken Bow, the GPS will take you on logging roads. That’s not a problem, but just know that Cane Creek Rd is washed out and now has a strong creek/river current running over it at the low point. This may subside as we get on in the season, but definitely beware—it’s easy enough to detour around it, but it comes up on you suddenly. Overall, this has been marked as a favorite spot for us. We’ll definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay we camp at Pineridge De Queen Lake every year alone with several families for the full 14 days. This year was a little bit different. We did injoy the new cover over the picnic table hopefully they will have them at all camp sites next year. I wish the park was more maintained. The restrooms was keep clean that was nice. We encountered rude people that were working on the new walking trail not all just a few and one man that seems to think that the dog leash rules don't apply to him. He had 3 dogs just running loose snd running over to camp sites were little children were. People seem to think it's ok also the people on the walking trails don't have to pay a day use fee. Why? People that fish and swim and picnic do.

Park is great except for the hoards of ants that get into every thing. Bring your ant killer and spray or sprinkle when you arrive. Fishing was great.
