Beautiful park, secluded and quiet. Very dog friendly. Hosts were very friendly and helpful with answers to questions about things in the nearby community. Rangers were extremely friendly and helpful also.

Love staying here. It is peaceful and quiet, beautiful views of the lake, and the Rangers are so friendly and helpful when we have any questions. Only issues were people coming into the park and vandalizing showers and painting graffiti on the walls. It's a shame, such a nice place to stay and so well kept.

During this pandemic, the quietness of Oak Park was a welcomed get away without the concerns of exposure to the virus. The Rangers were very friendly and practiced distancing when we conversed and also donned masks. The hosts were very friendly and all were helpful with any questions we had. Beautiful park, quiet and peaceful.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Quiet, and the sunrise and sunset on the lake is beautiful. Buzzard Roost is an apt name for the road you drive in on, the buzzards were all hanging out on the damn at sunrise.

Nice clean park, bathrooms were clean but even the " newer" ones were dated and in need of minor repairs.
Although one of the ladies rooms had no light and the other the shower did not work so I guess more than minor repairs are called for.
